Through a deep exploration of historical and cultural ornamentation — from Rococo’s opulent curves, Gothic’s dramatic verticality, Egyptian geometry’s disciplined symmetry, Art Nouveau’s organic flow, to the understated elegance of Japanese patterns. Building on this research, I created a series of patterns inspired by the bleeding heart flower, reimagining its delicate form within each stylistic framework.
